If the ice auger jumps on the ice or cuts slowly through the ice when drilling, the ice blades may need replacement.
6 mm Allen key (provided)
3 mm Allen key (not provided)
Remove the battery pack from the auger and detach the ice auger bit from the drive shaft of the power head using the 6 mm Allen key to loosen and remove the locking screw.
2. Wear protective gloves and remove the ice blade guard (Fig. D1).
3. Using the 3 mm Allen key, loosen and remove the screws and ice blades from the ice auger bit (Fig. D2).
4. Replace the ice blades with new ones and tighten them securely.
5. Reinstall the blade guard.
