The auger fails to get traction and it requires extra effort to push the snow blower forward

Replace the rubber augers following the section below
To Replace the Rubber Augers (Fig. G2)

| G2-1 | Rubber auger (x4) |
| G2-2 | 1 set of bolt, washer, and nut on each auger (total of 4 sets) |
| G2-3 | 2 sets of bolts and nuts on each auger (total of 8 sets) |
Required Tools:
13 mm open-end wrench (not included)
5 mm hex wrench (supplied)
Replacement Steps:
Wear gloves. Manually rotate the steel auger to the appropriate position for easy rubber auger disassembly.
Remove all securing bolts and nuts to take the rubber augers out.
Replace them with the new rubber augers, and securely tighten them.
Possible cause: The rubber augers are worn
